StorageTek ExHPDM
Program FDR and FDRDSF at version 5.3L31 or higher
support ExHPDM, a software product from StorageTek which combines multiple
FDR output files into one tape file, maximizing tape utilization and efficiency.
To invoke ExHPDM, add a SUBSYS=operand to a TAPE DD statement in a FDR
or FDRDSF step. See ExHPDM documentation for the proper SUBSYS= parameters.
ABR considerations for Y2K compliance
This letter was sent to all ABR customers on May 25, 1999.

Dear ABR Customer:
We have previously sent notices to you on ABR and the changes required
for Y2K compliance. As we move closer to the end of the year, we want
to recap what the requirements are and to ask you to let us know what
version of ABR you are currently using.
The current version of ABR is Version 5.3 L33. As of this date there are
no fixes required related to ABR Versions 5.3 L31, L32 or L33 for Y2K
compliance.
All ABR users must have installed Version 5.3 L20 or higher in advance
of YR 2000.
If you are running ABR V5.3 levels 20 through 25, see the chart below
to determine the Innovation fixes you must apply for Y2K compliance:
