IAM V8.0 L24 is now available
All V8.0 customers that are using IAM DFSMS Extended Format data sets and /
or are using IAM RLS, are highly encouraged to be running at the current maintenance
level. You can either request the newest tape, or if you are running V8.0/21
and above you can apply the following fixes, as appropriate for your level:
1. For DFSMS Extended Format data sets:
P-80.0188 applied at level 8.0/22 and above, is in file IAM800188.TXT
P-80.0191 applied at level 8.0/22 and above, is in file IAM800191.TXT
P-80.0210 applied at level 8.0/23 and above, is in file IAM800210.TXT
P-80.0214 applied at level 8.0/23 and above, is in file IAM800214.TXT
2. For those using IAM RLS:
P-80.0191 applied at level 8.0/22 and above, is in file IAM800191.TXT
P-80.0192 applied at level 8.0/22 and above, is in file IAM800192.TXT
P-80.0194 applied at level 8.0/22 and above, is in file IAM800194.TXT
P-80.0213 applied at level 8.0/23 and above, is in file IAM800213.TXT
P-80.0215 applied at level 8.0/24 and above, is in file IAM800215.TXT
To download the zaps from our FTP site:
- In your browser, go to: http://www.innovationdp.fdr.com/ftp/ftp.cfm
- Enter your access code and click LOGIN (use caps for any
letters in your access code). If you don't already have an
access code, please email ftpid@fdrinnovation.com
- Click "Download" and then on "IAM_V80"
- Download the file name described above
Documentation Update:
We have updated the doc in Section 10.88 (page 10-157) to specifically remind
you that when using IAM journaling for files that are used under CICS, the
file MUST BE IN AN LSR POOL.
